Major: The Pitch of Friendship (Winning Shot)
劇場版MAJOR メジャー 友情の一球(ウイニングショット)
Gekijoban Major Yujyo no Ikkyu (Winning Shot)

I'm not quite exactly where I've been not to learn about this sooner, but there will be a theatrical release of Major on December 13th. This is supposed to cover the time period when Goro injures his shoulder and decides to stage a comeback using his left shoulder. Below, my translation of the Japanese synopsis. I'm not really happy with it, but it'll at least give you an idea of what it says.

Synopsis:
The Mifune Dolphins beat the Yokohama Little behind Goro to win the Championships. But in helping push the Dolphins over the Little, the ace of the staff has injured his shoulder. Goro's father, Hideki Shigeno (a pro baseball player), is changing teams and will be moving the family to Kyushi; Goro leaves without letting of his friends know.

Wanting to play baseball again, but not wanting to pitch, Goro tries out for the famous Hakata Minami Little. He ends up making the team as a position player, but not all his team mate's are happy that he's on the team.

Meanwhile, back in Yokohama, the Yokohama Little are set to take on the Mifune Dolphins. After being beat by the Dolphins, Toshiya Saito and the Little have been working feverishly to regain the crown. The Dolphind, on the other hand, have lost all their desire to play after Goro's disappearance.

Toshiya tries to get the Dolphins to cheer up and says, "If we continue, we'll see him again." With renewed hope of seeing Goro again, both teams will fight it out to see if they'll be able to meet with Goro again.

But will it be the Yokohama Little? Or the Mifune Dolphins? And will Goro's team, the Hakataka Minami Little be able to get passed the regional finals?

Friendship, conviction, dreams, and spirit...The emotions will overflow the field!
