Rangers make an offer to Tazawa

Junichi Tazawa has received an offer from the Rangers. Sanspo reports the Rangers have offered a contract that could be worth up to $6M over 5 years. Sponichi is reporting up to $7M over 4 years.
While the Red Sox do appear to be the favorites, no official decision has been made yet. The fact that the Red Sox were interested in Tazawa for so long (since November of last year), and that both Matsuzaka and Okajima are on the Boston roster, have made the Red Sox instant favorites.
Tazawa will most likely make a decision some time during the first week in December. Sponichi feels that there could be an announcement that Tazawa will be joining the Red Sox as early as December 1st.
Incidentally, the Red Sox are offering Tazawa a 3 year deal worth $3M.
