Alrightie, been a while Since I wrote one of these. Seems I don't have much to blabber on about right now. Thanksgiving really drains me with work and all. We ran out of Turkey's at work, which is just completely stupid. Our main competion, Clemens, went kaput a while back, and the store near us closed about 3 weeks ago. Super Fresh moved in, and well, they fired all the Clemens employees except like 20 of them with only 1 days ntice, and they were told they would be keeping their jobs. This irked me a lot, and we've got a couple of the Clemens people coming to work for us. I trained one of them yesterday, which wasn't too bad, at least they know what they are doing, but they are a little confused by our system of doing things.

Training people seems to fall into my area now more and more. I've trained about half of the front end people hired this year. I can pretty much tell who will last and who won't. I'm still a little irked at all the added responibilities I have now, yet no raise. I've been with the company almost two years now, and I think I've gotten three raises since I was hired.

Still, running of of turkey's was the stupiest thing I've ever heard of for a supermarket, and it wasn't just our store. Our entire district ran out of birds, or had so little that we couldn't steal any from them. Since I had today more or less off (I'll be working overnight tonight) I don't know if we got any in.

I hate turkey.
